Well, color us surprised. Info from PlayStation World magazine suggests that Microsoft only had a timed exclusive window on Grand Theft Auto IV's 'The Lost and Damned' add-on pack, rather than a permanent exclusive.

The timed exclusive is reported to end after a period of six months, which leads website GamingFront to speculate that the content will arrive on the PlayStation Network on August 20, 2009.

While we're treating this purely as a rumor at the moment, Rockstar is known for releasing Grand Theft Auto games first on a specific platform, then launching them on other platforms six months or a year down the line.
