According to Chart-Track and GamesIndustry.biz, Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 has reached #1 on the software sales charts in the UK. To be more exact, the PlayStation 2 version sits at #1, where as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions are close behind.

UK Software Sales Chart:

1. Pro Evolution Soccer 08
2. Fifa 08
3. Football Manager 2008
4. Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
5. Ratatouille
6. Valve's The Orange Box
7. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
8. Halo 3
9. High School Musical: Makin' the Cut
10. Cooking Mama

Pro Evolution Soccer features 15 stadiums, 24 in the PS2 version, and has improvements in such things as graphics (facial and shirt creasing), animation, and AI. Also gamers will be able to import their faces using USB webcams such as the Eyetoy. With the PES series being so popular in Europe it would be no surprise if PES 08 stays in the Top 10 for weeks to come.

The new pro evo is absolutely terrible on the ps3, the framerate is ACTUALLY the worst i have ever seen in a game, it totally ruins its playability. I have it. I hope not too many others make the same mistake

All these people said this game was borderline broken, and with FIFA obviously being the better buy, I am rightfully surprised by this....
