Speaking in light of its financial results yesterday, Japanese publisher Capcom has disclosed sales projections for several major upcoming software releases spanning PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii platforms.
Leading the pack is hotly anticipated survival horror sequel, Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360), which the company expects to sell in the region of 3.2 million units following its launch on March 13.
Meanwhile, Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360) is poised to sell a rather modest 1.7 million units, followed by Bionic Commando (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) at 1.5 million units.
Bringing up the rear is Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop for Nintendo Wii, which Capcom reckons will sell an estimated 500,000 units.
Stay tuned for more news on all of the above (bar Dead Rising, naturally) here at PSU in the near future.

Capcom is gonna be shocked when they find out SF4 sells nearly double what they predicted, they're really underestimating how many old-school SF fans will get the game. Me & my fiancée will definitely be apart of that 3.2mil, she's more amped for RE5 than I am. lol

Some one in Crapcom's company needs a check-up from the neck up. Only 3.2M for RE and 1.7M for SF4.......yet 1.5M for "Bionic Commando"....WTF? >.> has someone been smoking on the job again? I see RE5 going well over 5M (easy) and SF4 on 2 consoles will go further than 1.7M. Now with the lowballers out of the way.....who in the F V C K! dived off of the deep end to predict BC selling 1.5M? I know there are alot of changes going on in the world right now (yes we can)...but things are not that great. Unless they plan on showing us something about BC that we haven't seen before 1.5M is nothing more than wishful thinking..at best.
