DC Universe Online is an upcoming multiplayer online game in development for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and PC that allows players to become heroes or villains and interact with others in real-time. Set in a three-dimensional DC Comics world, DCUO features iconic locations such as Gotham City and Metropolis and classic characters such as Superman, Batman and the Joker. In this dramatic online world, players battle alongside their favorite DC Comics heroes and villains to aid in solving or committing crimes. The game includes action-based combat and a robust physics system that encourages players to manipulate objects in the environment and hurl them at enemies.
