First PS3 UT3 user created map released

Despite the fact Unreal Tournament III has not even hit European shores as of yet, Thomas Browett, a 23-year old graphic designer from Nottingham England, has created the first user-created map for the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
Described as an avid fan of the Unreal franchise since the beginning, Setheran, as he so desires to be called, has created the map titled “DM-Shrine” which is designed to compliment close quarters combat as the map features 2-6 players. This comes as a breath of fresh air as most UT3 maps are for the purpose of large area combat featuring an enormous quantity of players.
FileFront serves as the hub for you to download the map as it also gives detailed information to how you can install the map onto your PS3. Hopefully this is a great sign of future user-created content from the PS3 community in the future.

Awesome,now hopefully it won't take too long for Epic to release the ps3 mod tools,so we can REALLY start seeing some awesome maps,and the best part of user-created content?Nobody gives a damn about infringing copyrights.lol

Yah this map is really good but i think the krodan map is way better. For those who don't know theres 4 maps and an autoshield mutator available for download. Hopefully Epic releases more maps shortly after Xmas. I can't wait for the mod patch to arrive. Some of the maps currently being made look really good.

So far, it is a good map. Haven't checked in the forums yet to see if there is a thread on all the maps available yet. Heard there is one mod potentially crashing the game and making you exit and restart, however, have not actually seen that MUTATOR MOD yet. This website for this very first PS3 mod map has exact instructions on how to download the package and upload it to your PS3. Enjoy it.
