Four minutes of Bourne

How many of us wish we could drop bodies like Jason Bourne does? Probably most of us. That's why we were glad to see that Robert Ludlum's novels and screen trilogy are being brought to video game consoles nationwide. While most movie/book to game adaptations have been lackluster and disappointing, it is beginning to look like The Bourne Conspiracy is going to change the mold.

Even though some are touting this game as a "handicapped Uncharted," we feel that isn't the case. With what is looking to be an impressive fighting system and an all-out action-packed title, Bourne is setting the bar for every movie/book game to come. GameTrailers.com has released a four minute preview of the game for your enjoyment and we've included it below. Let us know what you think in the comment section as always.

Didn't like the borune demo driving was WAY dodgy and the only thing I did like was the special move takedowns (especially while running) everything was pretty crap

And the worst thing the bourne that everyone knows doesn't exist in the game I mean who creates a completely new character for games of the movies e.g putting spidey in a green and yellow suit or make darth vader have a hoody

It's not a completely new character, lol. Bourne isn't Matt Damon. Bourne was around LONG before the movies were made.

Played the demo and I was surprised to see that the hand-to-hand takedowns never really get old.  The problem is, I'd rather fight with fisticuffs than shoot anyone.  Not only that, but sadly, I just wish the game looked better.  It's like a PS2 game.  I'd pay $30-$35 bucks for it, but not $60.

Yeah but not many people read the books compared to the movies (I for one only watched the movies and loved them)

So most people will pick up this game thinking cool get to play as the badass jason bourne then look on the back and see "that aint bourne must be another game not a bourne game"

LOL Nobody is going to think that by the guy on the cover or the back of the game.

Look like PSU said this guy is like the ultimate weapon games are good because they let you do stuff you normally couldn't do in real if i buy a bourne game i wanna look like him when i twist a guys arm behind his back and slam his face into table

Robert Ludlum is not bringing his novels to video game consoles.  Whomever owns the rights to the Bourne stories is.  Robert Ludlum died in 2001.

I was initially excited to play the demo, but after having played it, i don't think it's worth my $60 plus tax.

I was really looking forward to this game...........until I played the demo.  Looks like a shoddy copy of Splinter Cell but with a few cool features (the takedowns).  I'll wait until it's in the bargain bin for $20 before I buy it.

omg this demo was annoying why it take so long for them to reset people in a scene? do they reload entire level every time you have to load last checkpoint?!?! warhawk was smart enough that if next game was on same level, they not have to load it again

Those graphics looks awful, and so does the driving. But those hand fighting scenes look awesome. Im defo not buying, maybe a rent or a borrow form a mate type of game for me.

I, too, was looking forward to this until I played the demo. Thoroughly underwhelmed and unimpressed. I feel bad for it already. And didn't Damon and Paul Greengrass already agree to a fourth Bourne movie?

Very excited for this game, it is a lot of fun.  Just beacuse its not Matt Damon on the cover doesn't mean its not Jason Bourne.  If you really have that big a problem with that, its time to gain an imagination.

Matt didn't want to do another movie at the time this game was in development.  Because Matt couldnt commit to the movie at the time the developers thought it best to not use Matt in the game.  I don't know if hes signed on for the 4th Movie yet.  The next two books are Bourne Legacy and Bourne Betrayal if anyone cares.

Didn't like the demo, visuals are choppy but its very cimematic look. combat was cwap, punch, punch, press circle and watch the takedown, whats the point? And not to mention the car scene, f**king h£ll

psn id: gingo.... the hand to hand combat in the demo was very well done and the graphics were ok but the aiming and the driving were absolutely awful its a shame to see a possible good game being ruined by such flaws but what were people expecting of a movie based game

I didn't mind the demo actually, i thought it was ok............however it would have been good to have matt damon as main character, instead of the Drake lookalike. though what did annoy me was on the subway level, i tried to shoot a guy through a metal fence, and it wasnt having any of it. i hope they dont concentrate more on the fighting aspects of the game, otherwise they'll be other problems.

Matt Damon is a tool, therefore Jason Bourne is a tool.
