Sony has finally confirmed what has been rumoured for months - God of War III is coming to PlayStation 3.
Very little was revealed about the title, but the very first trailer was shown. It featured a voice over about a huge storm in Greece whilst the halls of Olympus were being raided. In the final seconds, Kratos says "In the end, there will only be chaos." And although only the top half of Kratos' face was shown, the detail was incredible.
But that's all there was. Definitely a teaser to "wet our appetites," as Jack Tretton wanted. We'll bring you more as soon as we can.

o yea when this game is released its going to push a lot of consoles. o and i almost forgot first post.
i wont beleive in anymore "exclusives" after seeing what SE did to us. But ih well....is good to see that GOW3 is finally anounced..at least..
well disapointing press confrence from sony, they lost this console war yesterday, but this is the only game to get really hype about. the trailer showed a lot about the game. its gonna use a lot of new graphical impovements, even though it was just cg but it looks like its gonna look 30% better than heavenly sword it seems there using the same facial technology as ninja theory. its probably gonna be the best looking PS3 title.
Dr_tee18, I suggest you stop acting like you know what you are talking about.... "looks like it's going to look 30% better then heavenly sword".... even you just admited it was CG, so how would you tell that? You can't. Sony lost the console war? No. I think Sony had the strongest showing at E3.
This game is going to be kick ass, still look up for any more news,features, vids,pics etc..
Sony lost the consoles war based on what? I thought the wii won already. As long as they keep making great games and they make profit..who cares?!?!?!
Good news God of War 3 is going to be an amazing title.
