New GTA IV details; possible MMO, episodic content

As the blockbuster that is Grand Theft Auto IV edges closer to its release date, more details continue to surface about it.
The latest issue of EGM provided the GTA faithful with the latest details on the highly anticipated game to be released next month. This multitude of news comes at the right time as we have only been exposed to bits and pieces of information till this point. Some of these new details include:
* The Sixaxis will be used in GTA4 but in a way thats done Right.
* A possible MMPOG GTA in the future. May be subscription based.
* Beat up cars will eventually stall, leaving you to flee on foot.
* Tires will shred apart when they are shot.
* Ps3 Version will have warmer colors while the 360 version will have more vibrant colors.
* Tap Up on the D-pad brings up the Cell phone. Up a second time brings up the key pad.
* There are several different cell phones you gain through out the game. the basic has contacts, organizer, camera, and multiplayer mode. The MP3 version is obtained later in the game.
* You can kill anyone and everyone, even your contacts.
* Theres a conservative talk station called WKTT (We Know the Truth). This is making fun of Rush limbaugh and will have those red stater rants that was recorded from real fans that called in doing that time period R* was taking calls from fans.
* DJ Lazlow Returns
* Bloggers play some form in the game.
* The old GTA cheat codes we come to love seem to have returned.
* You can drop grenades out of the vehicle while driving. you can also "cook" the grenades.
* R* is really getting into episodic downloads. may see some for the PS3 version.
Rockstar has already promised close to 100 hours of gameplay and then factor in the possibility of a MMO, it seems like most gamers will go months before they put down their copy of the game.

I bet ps3s online content would be maybe things totally different and not as epic as xbox360s content since how microsoft paid for exclusive content. But its a win win for both companies and gamers.
And im glad they made the gta franchise more flexible instead of the same things.

I want this game really bad. I'm sure that GTA4 will last me until Metal Gear Solid 4 easily. I don't plan on buying another PS3 game between MGS4's release and GTA4 anyway.
I played San Andreas for a little over 2 years before I actually got bored with the game and it took me a long time to actually explore nearly every portion of the game map. There was some areas in the game that I didn't find/explore until I had owned/played San Andreas for over a year. If San Andreas lasted me that long, there's no doubt that GTA4 will last just as long or even longer.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, i like b] lots of coulors, so for wat the ps3 ver wuill lack in colour, my tv will make up the difference, it has a feature called, "live clour" it makes clours more vibrant, so no worries there, and i got the colour tempreture on cool mode so again, no worries, but remember thos lost planet ps3 VS 360 comparison screen shots? remember how much colour the 360 had? WAY TO MUCH! it was like it was a cartoon, so once again, with my beutiful balanced ps3, no worries :)

This is great. I've had this game pre-ordered since August and i'm literally wishing away the next two months for it.lol. I just feel we are not gettin de full experience because of the inferior 360 even tho its a great machine, GTA4 has a lot more potential on the PS3 e.g. 5o gigs of blu-ray space = Maybe 3 massive cities(Liberty city, Vice City etc.

My friends and I, keep talking about the online aspect and how it might play out. I have been saying on here for I don't know how long that R* will probally give us something extra. More then likely the crashbox won't get it either. I've had the special edition pre-ordered since last year and I can't wait till it drops.
