I'm sure he names MGS because it's the game that's made him so much money for one thing. But also because it's the game that let him tell a story the way he most wants it told. All the other games are because they were the most exciting games to play for their time or because they were just plain fun to play.

 

Besides any japanese developer would be a fool not to include a Miyamoto game in his list... you know like Itagaki who actually said he could make a better mario game than him.

I think Metal Gear, Mario, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and maybe GTA are the best.
