Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XV for E3, hints Square Enix

Fresh information on Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV may possibly be revealed at E3, President and CEO of Square Enix Yosuke Matsuda told website Nikkei Trendy (via DualShockers) over the weekend.

Speaking to the Japanese site, Matsuda-san expressed his confidence in both titles, and was hopeful the company will be able to share more details on them at E3 in June.

He also took the time to reiterate that a new Tomb Raider game is in development, though wouldn’t divulge any further details.

Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV were officially unveiled at Sony’s E3 press conference last year, and will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One.

Final Fantasy XV was first announced at E3 2006 as PS3-exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII. However, after a troubled and arduous development cycle, Square Enix decided to rename the game and move the project to next-generation systems.

The JRPG is reportedly quite far into development, and is said to be the most expensive Square Enix title the company’s entire history.
