Konami celebrates Metal Gear Online anniversary with bikini DLC

Konami has launched a special bikini-themed downloadable pack for Metal Gear Online in celebration of the game’s first anniversary.
We feel there’s little to elaborate on at this point, so without further ado, here’s a video of the new content in all its glory. Enjoy. Meanwhile, our review of Metal Gear Online can be read here.

I've recently gotten back into playing MGO and it's great fun! The variety of game modes, pacing and weird humour is awesome! I wish there was better mic support and in game XMB but probably one of my fav multi player games none the less.

Just when I thought Kojima could not produce something even more lame than the acting in his games and the ridiculously long cut scenes, he goes and does something like this. I am setting my copy of MGS4 on fire. So, instead of creating 30 trophies for the game, THIS is what they did instead. Fanboys are the biggest reason why game developers do the dumbest things. You will approve of ANYTHING.

Games are meant to be fun.
Also, in regard to your other statements, Kojima is a Japanese company and it is made by Japanese people. Just look at the credits. The long cut scene's come from the game's mix between game and movie. The acting isn't bad, it is extremely cliche. Which also is an aspect of Japanese film.
In my opinion this is great DLC. I can't wait to snipe bikini girls in the tits and watch em jiggle.

@17 fanboys of any game generate dollars for the dev of their favorite game. If you didn't like the game, hated the cut scenes and the acting was "bad" WHO CARES! Its not a movie so who cares about the acting, its gameplay that counts the reason behind the cut scenes was to close the final chapter of Solid Snake and explain how it all went down to his final days. If you played the other games but just played to play then its obvious you would hate it because you don't understand it and bought into the hype of MGS4.

No flaws in MGS4 in my opinion its one of the best games on PS3. The long cutscenes told the story so well that you felt as though you were truly involved in the game.

you can also download the packs via PSN now (europe anyway). Under the mgo shop should be mgo shop (playstation network) so choose that.

You really should stop playing games if you cant appriciate probably the best produced game EVER!
I think trophys would be great as I enjoy hunting them. But its not desperatly needed.Although a MGS4 platinum would be lovely in my opinion.
Oh by the way..........is this DLC free or is it on the reward shop?

Lame i was expecting TO HAVE A FREE DLC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This DLC is completly useless.(if wanna see those things i have plenty to see on the web XD)
MGO should have more 10 maps(or a map editor!!),at least more 2 characters to create,more weapons(specially a rail gun!!).
Im hoping a MGS4 substance to come out with all DLC inclued as well.and with some extra missions also!!
And DLCs must go to the Store as well.
MGO is soo awesome but it lacks free stuff!!! come on i already paid for the game 1 year ago!!

Oh by the way, PSU, this is not DLC. It is free, new gear in the reward shop, and it was announced atleast two months ago. This is old news. Also new gear in the reward shop is no big deal, the reward shop updates EVERY WEEK with new gear for players to earn. This helps make MGO one of the coolest online games because of it's extensive character outfit custimization. Honestly this is not news worthy. -_-

Your totally right its not even DLC, I would call it "Unlockable content" as its already on the disk.
Even the Map pack with extra characters was on the disk. (for those that dont kno what im talking about, when you pay for the MGO map packs, all it does is unlocks it from the disk, it dont download nothing, it just appears straight away)
This is the only thing I didnt like about MGS4, I dont mind paying for DLC but come on, if its already on the disk shouldnt I be entitled to it without paying even more? I paid for all the map pack because I love this game. Probably the main reason for Konami doin it that way, because there is so many fans out there willing to pay anything for what ever Kojima throws at us.
Fair play to that, but still I think its a little cheeky.....Especially coming from "The fans man" Kojima.
Either way, there will not be a game to match this in many years as far as im concerned so my money wont be wasted :-)

This game is the best ever made so far and its got a lot to back it up.
I loved it for cut scenes making the story such much more engaging, go sell your ps3 and spend your money at an arcade then, dont complain about your different taste here. You know who you are -

It is so much fun laughing at the fanboys who talk about how great MGS4 is. Well produced? If you mean a beautiful game that is fun to play, then sure. It is well produced. But the voice acting, script writing, and cut scenes (outside of one good cut scene) are HORRIBLE. So, technically, it is TERRIBLY produced, but well designed GAMEPLAY wise. See, I actually enjoy PLAYING MGS4... all 3 hours of the GAMEPLAY. And I think the multiplayer is good. But as a game worthy of the price, no thanks. Killzone 2 destroys it in that sense, As does inFAMOUS and pretty much any other exclusive. MGS4 is only awesome to fanboys.

Yea sure you can breeze through MGS4 in 3/4 hours. As you can with many other games. How quick can you finish Killzone 2?
