Maxim: New 50 Cent game is better than Killzone 2

The above title isn't a typo; we couldn't believe it either. In the latest issue of men's magazine, Maxim, the review team behind their minute game's division has actually scored 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand higher than Killzone 2 and Street Fighter IV.
The magazine gives this slight blurb as their reasoning behind giving 50 Cent's upcoming title a 4 out of 5 while Killzone 2 sits at a weak 3.5.
"A Wanksta-proof gem, Sand combines arcade-style collecting, 18 new music tracks, co-op play and a story that's Indiana Jones meets Scarface."
Usually a situation such as this is followed closely on forums by a generic face palm image, but we'll leave that up to our readers. GooseGoose from the GameTrailers.com forum was kind enough to include this scan from the magazine.

Are these guys a bunch of 12 year olds. Lets face it thats the kind of audience a game like this is based for. I can just imagine them talking street, with they're caps on bakwards and baggy jeans around they're ankles thinking they're hip. Nothing against 50, like his music, but his acting skills suck, anyone see Righteous Kill?

they only did it cause 50 put a new cd on the game 18 new songs is basicly a album. but.... i think K2 not having a co-op is going to hurt the game in the ratings. the gaming world to hook on FPS having a co-op mainly ones that have a multiplayer. Killzone 2 better not get a rating less then Bioshock regardless of the story.

50 cent has the money but i really doubt this game beats KZ2 in gameplay,graphics , and musical score i highly doubt it!!!!!!

Figures that a magazine that's filled with barely dressed ladies(i'm not complaining at all) and rap cd advertisements would favor anything from 50 Cent over a REAL video game gem. No matter. Killzone will be awesome and we all know that.

This guys dont know s.h.i.t. about games. The game is cheesy, stupid and bad designed were people lack the ability to make great games and rely on the game images (50 cent) to drive the sales of the game. Anyone who want a game doesnt care bout the new soundtracks or any of that s.h.i.t. Indiana jones meet scareface what kind of frase is that!!!! I just remember shaq fu come on stop making this stupid games.

50 cent, the game....has collecting. only 18 music tracks. thats 50 cent music tracks most likely that u will hear on the radio...and a story ripped straight out of indiana jones and scarface....a 4/5....i am speechless.
honestly from looking at the game, i expect mediocre voice acting, music that is an aquired taste. and gameplay ripped straight from gears of war, and a story with clear influences, i mean theres freakin CRYSTAL SKULLS that 50 cent is after...

Just another example at how media has influenced people to be ignorant and tries to breed ignorance in turn by marketing this bull$hit. I fuucking hate rap and all of it's poser wannabe thug wigger follower sheep. Like all trends, it's just a money-making gimmick to make people who are easily impressionable and who have an identity crisis to follow. People who try to hard to fit in because of peer pressure and feel like people will beat them up or make fun of them so they try to like dress, talk, and act like they're black. But anyways, before I go off on a tangent to my most strongly hated subjects, I'll stop. I don't have any worries that Killzone 2 won't still do great. At least a 9-10 for Killzone 2. The 50 cent game is just basically $60 toilet paper to wipe my asss with. Fuuck NOTORIOUSly retarded, 50 pesos, 2fudgepac, and all the other untalented homos who suck the marrow out of real music and breed jive-talking mongoloids who wear their pants down to their ankles in the generations ahead.
