Media Molecule: LBP reveal that people "don't see coming"

Media Molecule's Alex Evans has told Eurogamer.net that LittleBigPlanet has at least one more trick up its sleeve that will surprise the masses.
"I really want to be able to do another [Game Developer Conference 2007] reveal," said Evans. "A lot of people say to me that when we first did that Sony GDC reveal of LittleBigPlanet, that was a big shock - people didn't see it coming. I want to do another LittleBigPlanet reveal that people don't see coming."
"It's still LittleBigPlanet, but people will be saying, 'I thought it was this - now you're telling me it's this as well?!' That excites me hugely."
What could this new reveal be? One of our guesses is the introduction of water (and perhaps even entire underwater stages). Who knows though? Other than the team at Media Molecule, nobody, but we hope to find out soon enough.
LittleBigPlanet is due out on the PlayStation 3 this October.

FIRST! Little Big Planet is a high contender of game or the year with the endless amount of things you're able to do and this as well, what this article states.

this game's gunna pwn the masses and i know if anyone is good at getting attention to audience's whoa's then media molicule is perfect for the job.
ps.im buying this game the single day it comes out... anyone else with me on that one????

PLEASE be something good I hope it isnt we thought LBP was PS3 exclusive but it will come out for the 360 aswell wait isnt this game being published by Sony? i hope so

'I thought it was this(a game that can be modified and edited by user content and ideas) - now you're telling me it's this(Social network like second life) as well?!' That excites me not so much but could excite other people.

i said this ages ago how it would be cool if there was water!!! imagine it, your sackboy/girl going into the water and suddenly he/she starts swelling up, and when their out your sackboy/girl walks the the marshmellow man from ghostbusters and your friends have to rinse you out by jumping on you......ha ha ha god i cant wait for this game

yo those LBP has a story? if it doesnt it should, water ,weapons, wht the heck they can add anything as long they keep it exclusive!!XD

This is the most exiting game for me this generation, although it is silly, novelty like, childish to some and too casual for an old gamer like myself. And yet there are more surprises?
I just cannot wait for this game. It could very well be the best game of this generation considering its appeal to all ages of gamer.

You'll be able to use RB/GH controllers to control flamethrowers held by sacboy. Get a star power and your fire turns into flaming chickens that turn everything into cotton candy which you can use to build a giant cotton candy boss and rule the world!

im not seeing how sky/water levels would be a huge shock. Are you really telling me that a game based soley on creativity, and its limits are basically your own mind, and the big surprise you people come up with is WATER levels????? Right cause the shock of a revolutionary game equals the announcement of water levels.
Think about what theyre saying. If its being mentioned here, i highly doubt thats what they have in mind.

Mmm...would they be introducing elastic substances so you can make trampolines & catapults?
Maybe the water will be more than visual by ating as water does in real life? Get sackboy wet & he gets heavy & unable to jump high. Yet at the same time protects him from fire hazzards. Then maybe being wet will prove even more deadly with electrical & ice hazards giving them a greater range of effect?
Well, we can only hope. :p
Oh, and incase MediaMolecule read this & not the forums....Lefein wants a slinky.:lol:
