Capcom USA prices PSN Bionic Command; Euro price TBA

Capcom of America announced today that the PlayStation Network/Xbox Live Arcade title, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, will retail for approximately USD 10 when it goes on sale in May 2008.
The news comes following a user poll in which consumers were asked how much they would be willing to pay for the 2D shooter, with the amount of USD 10 (the cheapest option) polling 83 per cent of votes.
Capcom’s Ben Judd commented: "2D games are a bigger risk (no, they are not necessarily cheap to make. BCR has plenty of 3D models and uses much of the same tech and physics as the 3D version) because they are a harder sell.”
"The poll says USD 10 so that's what it will be.”
"Since the title will have to do quite well at that price point to break even (no, I'm not going to give you a specific number), I guess we have to roll the dice and see where they land,” he added.
The publisher said that it has yet to determine how much the game will cost in Europe.

Capcom I see how you been pregress. Keep doing the good job with 2D games look like you are good on it. Bad luck that we consumers not intersted on refried beans any more and btw your shares are junk.

How can anyone call them crapcom? Dont you know are responsible for classic ips that will still sell today.I bet those of you that say crapcom will buy RE5 and act like you never said anything.Damn mankissers.

It's stupid to ask. They should have made a questionare with options they know they can do more than break even on. like $12 or $15.

Uhh, you guys are a bunch of loser whiners! "OH NOES ITS CRAPCOM !! WAHHH !!!" Anyway this game is looking like so much fun (Better than the 3D version IMHO) and I will difinitely be buying it when it comes out on the EU PSN Store !!

Like anyone was going to vote for the higher values in serious numbers!
Anyway, no I won't be getting this. Nothing to do with it being Capcom - I just never liked the game. Wouldn't bother with it even if it was free.

Each gamer has his or her right to like or dislike capcom!! I don't see any reason why some people bash others because they don't like something. We buy the games and therfore have the right to express our opinion . They released two exclusives to the 360 and then right before the PS3 exclusive DMC4 comes out they change their stance on exclusives. The PS3 has yet to get Dead Rising and lost Monster Hunter 3 to the Wii. How is that neutral to all consoles? Capcom are a bunch of hypocrites and each PS3 owner has a right to hate the way they are doing business. I can't wait until the PS3 sales pass the 360 just to see Capcom show their PS3 fanbase the respect they deserve.

Shut up with the crapcom stuff already! Its stupid to call them that if most of the people that use that nickname will get a game by capcom (or would get a game if it was something like Marvel vs Capcom 3 or a game they really wanted)!! You know capcom makes good games and its just a matter of time before you end up buying one.

I was going to get this, but then i realized what Capcom has done to the Playstation users after most of there games were made succesfull because of the Playstation brand, and now they are going to put us behind them. Screw them, was going to buy this and RE5, but not anymore, even though i want to play it, but i will not buy any Capcom game until they apologize or give Playstation the games they deserve. I hear alot of people saying that capcom sucks, but who is really not going to buy there products???? ME!!!!

aww all the wee ps3 fan boys are all up set because there network cant handle tht beta.lol. now there all coming out with crapcom,but i bet tht they have all got games from them .

@ the great one, i dont own any capcom game, i dont think i ever have, ive played there games, but i will not spend my money on them. So boooyah, a PS3 fanboy does not own there games

I'll be getting this because the NES Bionic Commando was a sweet game, and this one looks even better.
As far as the 'Crapcom' stuff, Capcom redeemed itself (in my eyes) when they made a graphically superior Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3. They are a Japanese company that realizes that Xboxs don't sell well in JP, so I'm hoping they will get the hint.
