@1 I don't buy movies, no. Too scared. But I rent both movies and TV episodes all the time. Try Fox's The Unit. You will not be disappointed.

DreamsofAnarchy makes a good point. If you could download a lost movie, I think I'd be more likely to download than buy the blu-ray disk. However that might change in the future. Right now I reserve the internal drive for games and load movies onto an external hard disk which works fine. If I bought another external drive (which are pretty cheap these days) I could have two copies of a movies so if one drive failed I'd have a backup. Two bad there's not another port on the PS3. It would simplify memory management.

yeah,if i buy a movie,it will only be on Blu-ray format or not at all,but as far as renting movies goes... i love the psn store.. saves gas, satisfies my lazyness, has HI-DEF movies too. :)
its more convienent ina way ,unless you have netflix account ... (but i was to lazy to put the movies in the outgoing box) lol. so PSvideo store works for me.
oh and its no different then renting a movie thru on demand (eccept we got hi-def),and we just efin rule.

No extra drive for me yet so I need my space. It will probably be a long time before I trust downloaded vidz, I have comcast so chances are I'll pay to rent something, get partway into the download and the whole damn network will crash for a day.
