(continued from previous page) ...No weapons? Using punch and kick may feel monotonous after a while.
-City seems a little dead, apparently there will be pedestrians and moving cars and city life below...but when you are always on the rooftops, you don't really get to enjoy it.
- Some framerate issues, animations seemed clunky once in a while.

Overall Mirror's Edge looks great. The storyline is intriguing and the controls are unique. It will be interesting to see how EA DICE pulls everything together and what all they have yet to announce and show.
Stay tuned to PSU.com for more information on Mirror's Edge in the future.

Wow no one has dissed them yet for posting first post ect. they acturyl jsut went along with it ... wow thats refreshing rather then seeing haters post about how gay people are for saying that
No, instead our half decent community of gamers degrades to an immaturity seen most commonly in pre-schoolers who feel the need to shout "ME ME ME" at the top of their lungs. Seriously, if you're going to bother with the first post BS, how about you actually include an opinion, instead of just trying to look important. It's degrading to the community when you make useless posts. Because you're not just making yourself look rediculous, you're attributing to the decline of the site's reputation and overall reliability.
That aside, it looks as if the game COULD be solid and worthwhile if they work on some of the negatives PSU has already pointed out. The question I have, is there any multiplayer support they have looked into? I am going to assume no, though the prospect of an online version of this I'd think has the potential to be awesome.
Id barf everywhere , due to my strong case of motion-sickness but the game looks very nice. And it reminds me of the 1st matrix for some reason just how the buildings are and virtual universe.
This is really old news...there was a "first look" at this months ago (literally about 6 months ago) in Edge magazine...having said that it does look like a good game...
the game looks amazing. i cant wait to see more about it. im pretty much sold on it already.
@ the first three posts: GROW UP! are you fricken 3 year olds with nothing better to do than ruin this sites reputation?
martial arts in 1st person does not work....
martial arts in first person doesnt work agreed !
3person would have win
Reminds me of Breakdown. Looks good. You guys that only post 1st and 2nd make ps3 users look very immature. I would expect this from wii users cuz they really are young but I dont know about you guys. I would say you are as bad as the 3fixme guys but people on there are fake racists, cant get worse than that.
Well..while this game seems refreshing, but one of my quirks about it..isnwhy is the entire city so bleached white? It looks like the entire city is supremely clean and white and.....unnatural. While I'm glad the game isnt all brown like most games around are, it just has an unnatural feel to me. Thats just my two cents
@JD-82
I was about the make the same comment as you with regard to Edge magazine right here in blighty. But our American cousins don't get Edge. It was a cover story as well wasn't it? Quite a cool cover as I remember with lots of red swooshy lines some of which were metallic. The Edge article explored the game in more detail as well. I'll be interested to see how the finished product looks. Because clearly the FPS genre needs some shaking up.
I actually like the look of this A LOT. I really hope they have some weapons and if not hopefully it will still be fun.
Looks boring to me tbh.
not hyped enough to buy it yet.
The idea is unique and the visuals kewl but... I'm not sold on it yet. How long before running around on rooftops gets boring?
The premise is there, just got to see how it all turns out right?
looks good want to see gameplay first
Looks great, i can't wait to see some more.
Based on what was presented in this article, I'm not interested in this game. This game should have been a 3rd person game.
Well,it looks like this might turn into a mustbuy for me,and really like the art style.Looks kinda refreshing.
artanoma: free running and parkour are not the same nor similar and both have different goals.
Promises
This could be a better version of breakdown(XBOX). Lets see how this down.
