Remember those days when people didn't care about polygons, AA, shaders, and all that other technological jibber-jabber? Q-Games' certainly does. Their first PixelJunk title, PixelJunk Racers, is already available on PSN. With that out the door, they've been working hard on their next title, PixelJunk Monsters.
The game is set to come out January 24 on the US PlayStation Store, but if you want to get your grubby little hands on this tower defense style title early, a demo has been released on the Japanese PlayStation Store. It surprised us to learn that the demo was actually in English, so language barriers won't apply.
Inspired by the popular and addictive tower defense genre, PixelJunk Monsters takes the simple real-time strategy concept of base defending and presents it in an attractive 2D hand-drawn style. Additionally, this title works through Remote Play, so you're able to play it on the go on your PSP.

I hadn't heard anything about the gameplay of PJ M until now but it looks like a definite pick up. I love tower defense games.
