Shaun White Snowboarding gameplay trailer

Ubisoft has just released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming snowboarding title, Shaun White Snowboarding. Utilizing a modified version of the Assassin's Creed engine, boarders will be able to create their own paths across the mountain tops and express themselves through a huge variety of tricks, riding styles and more.

It looks ok. Maybe it's just the low res video but the graphics look pretty blah to me. I was hoping it would be a bit more realistic too although its still a lot more realistic than SSX. I think the guys making skate should put out a snowboarding game in the winter and their skateboarding ones in the summer, then we'd be on to something.

^^^ agreed. I was too hoping for a little more realism, but then I saw him just from a tree grind to a roof grind, a little unrealistic but still ages more than SSX. SSX was good and all but realism is where it's at right now IMO with games like skate shaking the market.

it looks really bad. i dont thinkthe assassins creed engine was a good choice for this game. still images within the engine look really good, but the framerate and animations look way jerkyer than a snowboarding game should be. I dont mind if there are some over the top tricks or obsticals, it is a videogame (and ssx was an awesome franchise), but i really dont like the snowball thing. really gimicky.

Has anyone noticed the IGN online commentary part 2 says its PS3 commentary but its being played on a 360?? Are IGN taking after gametrailers..

it could be how long ive been waiting for a snowboarding game, but i dont think this games looks bad at all.
the article in PSM made it look extreeeemely impressive.
