Singularity announced, debut trailer inside

Time travel is a fickle thing. Unsurprisingly, a lot of the time it goes wrong. Very wrong.

Introducing Singularity, Raven Software's new first-person action game. Unveiled at Activision's E3 2008 press conference, the game wrestles with the general preconceived notion of time as a straightforward entity. When you deviate from that linear path however, things become unstable.

Regarding setting, the game is clearly takes place in Russia, as evidenced by the Soviet flags and the Kyrillian lettering in the logo at the end. Visually, the game looks fairly similar to the grays and browns of Dark Sector and TimeShift. That's about all that can be grasped from the game's unveiling and debut trailer, which can be seen below.

    hmm, could be interesting. and it's made by Raven Software (the guys who did Soldier of Fortune 2), even better.

    Cool concept unfortunatly I'm getting FPS overload... seriously too many of them, figure out a new way people or you;re going to start seeing backlash.

    These are from the guys who did Soldier Of Fortune? .......damn....... may be another mediocre title with pretty visuals. I'll keep an eye out for this I suppose.

    Why the heck are so many of the games this gen all in brown, sepia or shades of dirty gray?  Can some give us normal colors in some of these kick-butt games?

    Looks/sounds pretty interesting. Will have to see gameplay footage first to see what it's like.
