New Final Fantasy XIII/Versus XIII footage on Dec. 13th
Rumor: Splinter Cell: Conviction coming to PS3?Sony is looking to expand their PlayStation Network service to make it a more attractable feature rather than a gimmick. One of Sony’s most recent acts was the release of PSN cards, allowing users to take an alternate route to using their credit or debit cards online to purchase from the PSN Store. By doing this, PSN seems more accessible.
Now that Sony is creating ways for more gamers to come in, it is now rumored that they [Sony] is partnering up with a third party Japanese developer to create some remakes of their past games, which will be downloadable through the PSN. The Japanese developer has not yet been revealed, but just the notion of being able to experience nostalgia by playing a Capcom, Konami, or even Square-Enix (formally known as SquareSoft) remake, is enough to get any gamer that is 20 years or older excited.
It is key to remember that this is just a rumor, so please do not take this to the bank. If more surfaces, we'll make sure that you are one of the first to know of it.

i hope to god it is Square enix, they ( and Sony) would get the most money from making old Final fantasy games then the other devs from japan
For some reason though, I think it would be square, since there games have already been made for the PSP.

Its what xbox does and i think it will work but i think they should make them HD because the games like crash bandicoot and stuff are crap on ps3 as i was a sucker to download it and another game with a stupid gorrila in it :S
I would love to play the original Resident Evil game again, I lost that darn disc along time ago :(
FF7, and MGS1 with the "Twin Snakes conversion would be nice.

cool MGS1 remake for the ps3. i liked nintendos version the twin snakes. they should remak resident evil 2 i got that game again a while back
It's not Square. They have better things to do with theit time and resources than piddle around remaking Loaded or something. it's probably either Capcom or Konami if it's true at all.

hmmm well i hope it speeds things up alot actually the game id like to see hit ps1 classics other the FF8 is legend of dragoon anyone else play that? it was my favorite RPG from ps1 i like the battle system and concept even more then FF8 i never played 7...
I can see it now "why doesn't sony focus their attention on making new games instead". I can't wait!!!!
