Take-Two’s Ben Feder has divulged a few juicy tidbits on upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive Agent, revealing that the game will be set in the 1970s and focus on espionage as opposed to the urban exploits seen in Grand Theft Auto.
Speaking to Eurogamer on the similarities between Agent and Rockstar’s crime behemoth, Feder stated, “It’s a completely different storyline, there is completely different character development.”
“It’s a game about espionage, set in the 1970s. GTA is obviously more about an urban experience, a typically rags to riches experience. Very, very different storylines, very different character development. It’s going to be very fresh for gamers.”
Elsewhere, he refused to budge on the matter of the game’s PS3 exclusivity, insisting the company won’t disclose any further information beyond what has already been said.
“These are all relationship matters and contractual matters,” said Feder. “When we talk about our relationships and our exclusivity for PS3 and Agent, for example, we don’t disclose anything beyond what we’ve already said.”
“But we think it’s important for us to be with Sony, and it’s important for Sony, I think, to be with us. The game promises to be one of the best games available because of who’s developing it, and because of the subject matter.”
Stay tuned for more info on Agent here at PSU in the coming months.

oh dont do a ff13 and claim its exclusive to ps3 then turn bk on your word.if it wasn`t done, dusted and signed off 100% ps3 only game then shouldn`t even of mentioned it at E3...only lose respect in the end which is bad for business.

I think it will stay exclusive cause he says, “These are all relationship matters and contractual matters.” So there must be a contract they signed. It will definitely be a timed exclusive at least.
The game does sound pretty cool. I was hoping for a modern day one though. Was really thinking of something like the show Burn Notice and having to figure out what happened. Hopefully it will be cool though.

am i the only one that notice the game industry treat PS3 third party exclusive different then 360 third party exclusive. its like when a game is annouce to be a exclusive to PS3 every game site give dev's a third degree about how come the game not coming to 360. but when its the other way around some sites ask maybe one line why not PS3 and some don't mention it at all.
for example look at the heat Konami got for keeping MGS 4 exclusive to PS3. or look why FF14 was annouce at E3 to be a PS3 exclusive then when SE was interviewed first few question why isn't FF14 not coming to 360.

@oatmeal - It's because the media is biased and want the 360 to dominate the PS3 for the entire generation. They know that more exclusives will put the PS3 above the 360 this generation eventually after the price drop. It's oathetic I know, but that's the way they decided to be instead of being nuetral like they should.

I haven't seen any pictures or videos. I know I'm not online as much as some of you, but I should have seen SOMETHING by now. Since I haven't, I'm not hyped nor will I be. I'd like to give it a chance, but it will most likely bomb and that's why they're not showing anything about it. Somewhere I did read how someone was comparing the hype to State of Emergency. I see it now.
