haha holy sh!t dude,thats fookin badas$ man... thats like a dream for me.. you allways get dismemberment and gore in third person action games and nothing like that in fps games... only one was soldier of fortune but i heard it sucked.. not even gears of war has that kind of intense dismemberment in it? this game keeps getting better and better as it gets closer to release time.

Just don't try to make it like Gears 2 please to cater to the hardcore American spazz, just hardcore everything huge, scarred up, unrealistic characters.

Gore>No gore

i hope it wont have that jp ntsc censoring issue like in resistance 1

sensoring is dependant on the region and what they allow. If japan wants to let you see exploding skulls so be it but chances are they may dull it down to green blood or remove some of the gibs. They're not against violence as long as it isnt super realistic humanoid violence. If you have a JP PS3 you  just have tog et used to that.

I read from GameInformer that there is this invisable Chimeran creature which weilds claws as its weapon, sort of like the Preditor. And that when it gets close enough to humans that it will basically rip you in half or byte you and everything. Then now reading that you can blow enemeis legs, arms and head off confirms that Resistance 2 will indeed be gory, very gory.

I also read that for certain Chimeran creatures, you have to shoot off their armour first to be able to kill them!

That's what i wanna see,decapitation rocks!!But i just hope some of this gore makes it's way to the psp's Resistance Retribution,i REALLY want a gory title on the psp,which is very rare these days.

 Is more gore really what the video game world needs?

When i was younger i used to love pulling heads off with Sub Zero in MK1 (yes im that old!)

But my recent experience with MGS4 has shown me that gore isn't really all that needed, you consider how little MGS4 had yet still it is a brilliant game.

Seems to me that by adding an obscene amount of gore to this game all they will really achieve is a mandatory 18+ certificate and miss out on many thousands of slightly younger players, all for the sake of something that has been proven to be unimportant when gameplay is at it's best.

Yeah great, take time to make more gore. But don't try to make the multiplayer any better. Has anyone seen the latest on the multiplayer? It look's dreadful look's clean but look's bland and boring, maybe they should worry about other thing's than gore.

I really like what Insomniac is doing. Kudos to Ted and the gang.  They are such a help to the Sony brand.
