Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced today uPlay, a new interactive online service filled with user-generated content set to launch in games by the end of the year.

The service is community based with components like uHelp, filled with user-created game help. Stuck on a level? Hop on uPlay and get fellow gamers' advice. You'll also have access to an online store and a community section.

The uPlay video portal site is coming soon. uPlay is set to launch in Assassin's Creed 2, Avatar, and the new Splinter Cell game.

Guides will PREVENT you from declaring a game sucks when your hopelessly lost and save you time and money too!

Come on guys, don't be so closed-minded.  Why is everyone's initial reaction to anything negative?  It has just as much a chance at being useful as it doesn't, my goodness.
