Uncharted 2 sells one million copies, so far

It should come as no surprise that Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has sold well so far. In fact, Sony Computer Entertainment of America’s senior VP of business development Phil Rosenberg says one million copies have already been sold.
Speaking at the BMO Capital Markets “Digital Entertainment Conference” in New York, Rosenberg said, “As of last week, we've already sold over a million copies [of Uncharted 2] in just a couple weeks on the market," said Rosenberg.
You can expect Nathan Drake to grab the top spot on today’s NPD Group sales chart.

Disappoint in what? Who? The game? The people that didn't buy it? If you want people to not disappoint you, go ahead an take your spy cyanide now. You are no doubt comparing it to Modern Warfare 2, right? If you aim for the lowest common denominator, you get the results everytime. Behold! The pantheon of successful products of questionable quality:

Wild popularity RARELY comes with quality in my estimation.

With PS3 games they always start off slow then sell well after about a year. Hopefully this game does at least 3 million. Once it turns greatest hits and platinum it should have no trouble at all.

Shame the advertising wasn't on par with the game itself, if there was some serious advertising, it would've done justice to a game like this. This game truely was a gem, outstanding.

i was expecting higher to be honest. for the best reviewed game this year, its sad to see it not get up to 2 or 3 million. this game definitely deserves it.

this game is sooooo much better than mw2....and if this game was multiplatform i think it would have sold way more copies than mw2..imo....go ND!!! hope u get game of the year...

Modern warfare 2 sold 7 million because of it being on both 360 and ps3 but 1 million just being on ps3 is pretty good. If all gamers want this game they will buy a ps3. It is a sytem seller.

I am disappointed in PS3 owners.They have to be the dumbest of all the fanbases.We have the best exclusives and these people fail to buy them.This is the first time that i was ever a shamed of being a gamer.

Please add the rest of the worlds sales to that to get a better picture.
Regardless, 1 million sales is not good enough for the best game of this gen so far.
Please note that I shall not weaken that standpoint with a ginger beer "IMO". It is the best game of this gen so far.
