Recent reports from Xboxygen.com and Kotaku.com, have led people to believe that Golden Axe: Beast Rider had become an Xbox 360 exclusive. However this is not the case.

PSU.com has contacted Sega directly and received word that Secret Level is working on both an Xbox 360 and a PS3 version.

When asked if Secret Level had dropped the PS3 version of Golden Axe, Sega's Danny Chiu responded stating, "Not true, it's coming to PS3 as well."

So that should clear things up, everyone can expect both a PS3 version and Xbox 360 version next year when the game hits stores late in 2008.

Stay tuned to PSU for all your Golden Axe updates.

Hopefully this game will be good and not just a shot in the dark attempt to release yet another classic game man.

The Previs video they showed a while back looked pretty cool so hopefully Sega can pull it off.... but then again this is sega we're talking about.

What are y'all on? Golden Axe was a fantastic game...I still play the original on XBL...just because it doesn't have up to date graphics doesn't mean it's not great...I still play Pong now and again...

Never heard of this game before the rumors that it was a 360 exclusive, but it is always nice to hear that it will come to our console.

By the way what's the game about?

SEGA is always usually in favor of PS3, it was just Xbox's hopes getting to them, lol

    To QuickSilver:

The game was about you can choose 1 of the 3 players, dwarf, girl, and man. You would have to travel through different area's fighting creatures including mini boss's and boss's.

The very cool part was that could build up a energy bar, that when you use your special move, it use's up the energy. The farther up the bar was, the more powerfull of an attack it would be. Each character had there own type. Best to save it for boss's and stuff like that. Great game back in the day.
