Sony reveals new details on Resistance 2

Sony has unveiled all-new details on Insominac’s upcoming FPS Resistance 2 during a press event in Sydney, Australia this week.
According to reports from the event, Resistance 2 will offer over 100 hours of cooperative campaign gameplay, while the single player campaign is estimated to take between 10-12 hours when playing on the normal difficulty setting.
In addition, Insomniac plans to fully launch MyResistance.net in two weeks time, with the leaderboard and stat tracking modeled after Bungie.net.
Many gamers are currently getting their first hands-on experience with the game thanks to the North America beta, which began yesterday.

I am testing the beta, The co-op was pretty fun, everyone gets lost sometimes and we re group and the action picks back up, couple parts were tough.
THE PVP is insane, and super fun, I went on a killing streak and it blew my mind at how awesome and how much fun this game is.
Yes, the bullets hitting the water causing waves was a very cool sight to see.
The gun with the blades that shoot out was really cool.

deniled, How is it in the 60 player. Is there a lot of lag, or is it pretty smooth.

well its in normal the 12 hour im going to start in normal im going hard core , i want a challenge i think 12 hour in single campaing i seriouly doubt it i feel its going to be a little bit more

just thought i would answer your question sonyjunk. you ask if there is any lag in the sixty player matches? I am so proud to say that I have played the beta (both eight player coop and 60 player competitive campaigns) and have experienced absolutely no lag, jerky framerate, or stuttering. that's right. absolutely none. Guys let me tell you this game is an absolute blast. November fourth is just too far away
