My friend bought this on Steam. The demo is pretty sweet from what he says. Sucks that its not coming to ps3 though. I'd rather own it on that.

Why is this a surprise to some poeple?!

Its obvious that Valve cant programme to the PS3. Its a ´´complicated piece of hardware`` for them. After the Orange Box incident, Im glad we dont get Left for Dead. Less Xbots trolling saying there version is superior and stuff.

By the way, I´ve seen trailers for this game but never seen actual gameplay for it! Even before the trailers came out, people where saying this would be game of the year! WTF?!

Valve has always been an M$ only shop, so no big surprise there.  I doubt I would have bought it anyway.  I'm still amazed that Orange Box made it to PS3, even as the inferior port that it is.

As PS3 sales continue to grow, and Xbreak360 continues to slide, Valve will see the error of their ways ;)

Did anyone really cared that this game was coming to the PS3? So far they've been the only 3rd party developer(I think) out right refusing to develop for the PS3. So in a way this makes them look stupid and untalented.

Honestly why do we even care? as much hemming and hawing these guys have done about whether it will or not the fact is that even if it DOES come out it'll be a crappy port! It'll be just about Orange box debacle with a messed up port of a game by a company that didnt want our money to begin with. I say let them have it, big friggin deal.

if they saide Half Life 2 : Episode 3 not comeing to ps3 it will be a bad news ... but left 4 Dead .. not intersted at all .. played the demo and it was normal ... i am sticking with Resistanc 2 FarCry2 & BioShock for this time

I thought this was already stated like 3 times already.  We get the point, Valve hates the PS3 because it makes them work hard and they're lazy...actually they're getting paid my Microsoft, but whatever.  In the future we'll just not expect anything from them.

Yeah they are already saying that which makes no sense. I heard the game won't even have a story mode. It will be just an online game. People who own a 360 say each game that comes out to their console is going to get the GOTY so don't even listen to them.

I own all 3 consoles and PS3 runs games the best. If PS3 had as big of a fan base as the 360 does in America it would be the top console with out a doubt. The developers release things to that console more because they can make more sales off it.

If you blindly support a console/company that gives no S**T whatsoever about you as an individual then it's your loss i suppose. Left 4 Dead does look like a good game and yeah, i'm upset i suppose that its not coming out on the ps3 but as many have said, there are other games and if you cant run it on your pc then its you who misses out most. there's no need to slander a game that if it came out on your console, you'd love. if killzone was multiplat, you wouldnt be all up in arms about it now would you?

I could care less.  Valve is nobody to me.  There are hundreds of games out there so I could care less if I play this one.  Valve has made a decision to not support the PS3, which is their right.  They could have hired someone with PS3 experience to help them develop this on the PS3 but chose not too.  Get over over it.  I'm not gonna lose any sleep.  Play Residnet Evil 5 or Deep Space.

lol well not much of a bother for ppl who own a pc. Thats what i luv about ms exclusives... they almost all come to the PC/360 lol. Ill never have to buy a 360 that way since anyway getting a computer better than a 360 is not so expansive. Especially if you only need to upgrade a lil. Thats what i like about ps3 exclusives... they really are XD and give me a reason for owning a ps3 lol

As much as I hate this news, I have to say fare enough.  Not every company needs to back the ps3 just like not every company needs to back the 360.  I mean xbox fans miss out on plenty of great games to (eg. Resistance).  Still I would really like to buy this game on ps3, hintedy hint hint hint to EA.
