Sony to double archive output in Japan

Sony Japan has updated their PlayStation Store with a batch of original PlayStation (PS1) games available for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable costing just 600 yen (around $5 USD).
The full list is as follows:
Alundra (Sony)
Echo Night #2 (From Software)
Hanafuda Graffiti Koikoi Monogatari (Hamster)
King's Field III (From Software)
Popologue (Sony)
Sanwa Pachinko Paradise (Irem)
Sanwa Pachinko Paradise 2 (Irem)
XII Jumbo (Sony)
In addition -- this update is just the first of two for October and Sony will infact be updating the Japanese PlayStation Store archives twice a month henceforward.
This is a significant development and could see more PS1 games promptly appearing in the store on a more consistent basis which is great. But the question still remains - Will Sony ever create a complete archive?

I just really want more PS updates for the american store. We only have, like, 8 or so. I would kill a baby to see games like the original Armored Core or Vagrant Story.

@5 if your trying to start something up on the 40GB dont even try it.. All PS3 are full backwards capable with PS1 games.. And if you have PS2 games then you have a PS2..So my question to you is, do you have a PS3 already??? Cause if you do it has B/C on PS2.. So what your point???
But to stay on topic.. Sony needs to wake up and smell the coffee cause for the PSN being free and them needing to find ways to generate $$$ they should had been seeling more of PS1 classic game from the jump.. There are a $hit load of PS1 game that I know people would love to get their hands on..

@6 if they are FULL backwards compatible with PS1 games, then why does FF2 crash in the middle of the story?

@thegame97338, I knew that I was not the only fan of the King's Field series. And King's Field III(II in the states) is seen as the greatest game in the series. However I am not happy about this at all, because unless I have the Original 60GB U.S. version PS3, I will have to kick out $5 for PS1 games that I already have. That.....................................................is messed up my friends.
