PSN can't compare to Xbox Live, says Microsoft

Robbie Bach, President of Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division, has dismissed rival Sony’s online efforts with its PlayStation Network service, claiming it offers no competition to Microsoft’s own Xbox live.
"It's fair to say that Xbox Live is clearly head and shoulders above anything anyone else has tried to do. We don't have competition," Bach told the LA Times this week.
Aside from acknowledging Sony’s effort with PlayStation Network, Bach was fairly dismissive of it as a whole, claiming it can’t be considered a service to consumers.
"Sony has done some things online, but nothing that can be called a service. We have a big advantage and we're going to keep pressing that advantage," he said.
Bach neglected to mention anything regarding the upcoming PlayStation Home service, a large, social-based virtual environment that is currently scheduled to launch next spring.
