What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas - except those pesky terrorist takeovers.
Ubisoft has just revealed the sequel to this year's tactical shooter hit, Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and still set in Sin City (as the title implies), Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is set to deliver a new single-player story in addition to infusing "some surprises" into its versus and cooperative modes.
"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas has been the effect of a bomb in the world of video gaming in 2006 [and 2007 for PS3], by introducing in one fell swoop technological advance and innovation in terms gameplay," said Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot, in a French press release.
"We are confident that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will also pioneer in the field of highly competitive shooters and delight fans of the Rainbow Six brand."
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will have you romping through Sin City on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in March 2008.

I wonder if this is going to be like GRAW2 where Ubisoft made an expansion pack and decided they could screw people out of 60 dollars if they sold it as a full game.

if they can make this fun and interactive like call of duty 4 then I'll definetly buy it. I have the first one but it's now sitting on my shelf because multiplayer wasn't all that great. If they can amp up some things then i might consider buying the second but until then i might have to read some reviews on it before i buy it.

I heard that this game may be release as soon as March 2008!!!
It's too bad we won't see both HAZE and UT3 until early next year!
And I reckon the following games will also be delays come close to its release dates; Killzone 2, Little Big Planet and Silent Hill 5.
All these are supposed to be out by February 2008, that's only about 3 months away and we haven't heard anything solid on them! So...good luck to us!
