After a very generous (and most importantly free) Folklore holiday add-on pack last month, the developers behind this PS3 exclusive are not taking any time off to release the next batch of downloadable content for the game.
Game Republic has released the details on the two newest add-on packs available for the game which will be priced at 3.99 USD or bundled together for 5.99 USD. Both packs will feature a new character that will aid the main character Ellen in her quest through the game, possibly aiding in specific points of the game, and a brand new costume for Ellen as well. The complete details for these new add-ons are:
Folklore Add-on #3
“The Alchemist Pack”
In this pack, Ellen heads for Undersea City in search of her mother, while other quests will find you collecting stones for a mysterious alchemy experiment and clearing away the Folks who are blocking the Elevator in Hell Realm.
Discover Scarab, a new Folk that will make sure you get the “point”, as well as a special Faery-inspired costume for Ellen.
Folklore Add-on #4
“The Origin of Belgae”
The doorway to the Netherworld remains open… enjoy four more trips into the unknown set during the original adventure.
The pack challenges you to undertake the ‘rites of the ancient messenger’, discover what’s responsible for making a terrible noise and use a photo of a faery to solve a mystery…
Ellen will be gifted with the “Cloak of the Deep” and collect an additional Folk called Radian, that spins to hit enemies multiple times with outreached arms.
Although no exact release date has been given, it can be assumed that it will be via this week's PlayStation Store update.

I too have been holding off on buying this for far too long now (damn it...its just to hard to put COD4 down).......but I will be getting this soon. The demo was very good IMO. I have to wait for the PSN cards to arrive in North America before I can get downloadable content.....dam you Sony!...just alittle bit though lol

man It seems like this gae will have a never ending supply of packs! although I wish they'd pack more things together and release them less frequently, I mean all the money they want me to spend, it's almost like I'm playing an MMORPG... but without spawn camping dueshebags, so I guess there's a plus.

Dayum! It seems like every region other than Asia is getting tons of Folklore support. First Japan, then Europe, and now America. I'm really envious of some of you guys. I hope Game Republic hasnt forgotten about us...

Nice to see more support for games. I'll have to borrow this from my girlfriend to see if it's worth buying.
