Sony renames Afrika 'Hakuna Matata' outside of Japan

Although it's still keeping the name Afrika for its Japanese release next month, Sony's photo safari game will be renamed for the rest of Asia, and quite possibly North America, if the game is ever to see a U.S. release. The new name? Hakuna Matata (translates to "no worries").

Why the name change? Sony has yet to make an official announcement. Perhaps they've changed the name for marketing reasons, aiming to capitalize on a title that has been made popular by a famous catch phrase from Disney's The Lion King. However, until further notice from Sony, we can only speculate.

These comments show what wrong with the gaming community. A broken sense of association therefore something always is said to be copied or ripped off from something else.

I'ts good that it's not a only japan game (even though i have no intention in buying it) but changing the name to this is like the worst april fools joke a dev could think of, especially when it's not even april fool's day! maybe they've got august fool's day in japan?
