Activision has confirmed that it will be releasing the DragonForce Track Pack for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on August 21.
The pack contains a total of three songs from the British power metal band, including the new single from their Ultra Beatdown album, “Heroes Of Our Time”, along with well-known tracks “Revolution Deathsquad” and “Operation Ground and Pound” from their 2006 album, Inhuman Rampage.
Heroes Of Our Time in particular looks set to provide some of the most challenging riffs in the Guitar Hero franchise to date, and its inclusion in the game affords fans the opportunity to experience the track ahead of its album release.

Why have they put really bad bands such as Dragonforce on Guitar hero and not any of the actual LEGENDS of rock. EG. Eddie Van Halen, Jimmi Hendrix etc. I know they are in World Tour, but why waste time producing Dragonforce packs when you could just make some Van Halen and Hendrix packs. I know Dragonforce have crazy guitar solos, but other artists have GOOD AND CRAZY guitar solos, eg. Red Hot Chilli Peppers: Turn it Again, 21st Century..Alice Cooper, ACDC..etc

I genuinely feel bad for closed minded people like this. At least its not another boring Coldplay or some Weezer track pack. Can't wait till this pack comes out...finally some songs I might have to play more than once to 5-star.

Those of us who listen to good bands, like me and Hedgie09, aren't saying that Herman Lee is bad, we're saying that being able to solo for seven minutes straight gets boring to listen to. All of Dragonforce's songs sound the same, whether you want to admit it or not. They don't do anything genuinely special or new, and eventually you will(or should) realize that. I used to think they were amazing, before I noticed that nothing is entertaining after a while. leave seven minute metal epics to Metallica, please
