Are you itching to start Spring Training early this year? So are we. That's why when we found out that SCE San Diego planned to release a 4-inning demo of MLB 09: The Show in today's PlayStation Store update, we were stoked.
According to members of the development team, the demo is taken from an older build of the game (roughly a month to be precise), so many of the issues you may encounter have since been rectified.
PastaPadre, one of the community members that had the opportunity to check the game out this past weekend, noted that the title boasts a lot more changes and differences than what the demo will display. SCE San Diego is simply giving their fans an early taste of what is undoubtedly going to be one of the best sports titles in recent memory.
Those wondering which teams will be playable can stop guessing now. As expected, the demo features a replay of last year's World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Philadelphia Phillies. Don't forget to download it today. It's time to play ball!

These 2 games are MUST buys. So I have to trade in fallout 3, nba2k9, resistance 2, tiger 09, COD5 and far cry 2 just to get a jump on the $$$. Sony your my hero, but killzone is my Idol.
