Supposed Dead Rising 2 footage rounds the net

Last week Famitsu interviewed Capcom's Keiji Inafune about the possibility of a Dead Rising 2. Inafune confirmed that the title was in development, though this was later determined to be a miscommunication through translation; however, a new viral video has been making the rounds on the net claiming the former.

The video contains various pieces of information from the first title in the series, which seems to add validity to the leaked footage itself. During the "trailer," the zombie outbreak has apparently been halted by a new form of vaccine, yet that vaccine ultimately fails, unleashing a new wave of terror on mankind.

While the video is shown via a shaky camera and with dodgy YouTube quality, it's safe to say that this is something to look forward to if real.

We've included the video below.

Sure looks like Megaman to me. Good eye BlazePhoenix. Other than that, most of this looks like stuff from the first game. I have it on Xbox.

I beleive the megaman costume was something you unlocked in the first game but it wasnt like a functional weapon or anything like you could shoot a Mega buster cannon or if you could it was massively weak.

It would be in Sony's best interest to get a release of this coming to their console. The first one was great, and sold tons of copies. It's about that time in the PS3's life that it starts getting in on some of the great games that are available on other systems. Hopefully Capcom and Sony can work together and get it to happen.
