HAWX demo lands on PSN this week

Ubisoft has confirmed that a co-op enabled demo of Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X will be available on the Xbox live marketplace* and the PlayStation Network later this week.

Arriving on the PSN on February 12, the demo will give us a chance to take to the skies in a variety of planes, including an F-16A Fighting Falcon, SU-35 Super Flanker and an AV-8B Harrier II.

The demo offers two different game modes: Normal and Expert, plus two missions from the full game. The training mode, Opertaion Off Certification will gives us the chance to get to grips with controlling the planes, whereas Operation: Glass Hammer, which is set in Rio De Janeiro, will give us our first look at the much publicized GeoEye Technology which gives us a satellite view over the Brazilian capital.

The full game will be released on March 6th, 2009.

* The Xbox live demo arrives on February 11th.
