We've never seen an add-on pack that improves on a game's initial content as much as Burnout Paradise's upcoming Big Surf Island. With massive jumps, unique cars, and cool-looking challenges, the add-on seems to have it all. Don't believe us? Check out the pack's promo trailer.
As the video states, Big Surf Island will be available on Thursday, June 11.

Oh I know Criterion they're that idiotic company giving away packs of two cars for £7.99, I'm not even gonna bother predicting the price of this all I know it's between 15 & 20 in british pounds

My guess in price be is 15 usd, but knowing how they charge the last DLC probably gonna be 20 usd or more, but i think they deserve my money, they already give us plenty of free DLC and the game is the king in arcades for me

This Burnout put too much emphasis on stupid jumps and stupid stunts. It's what Midnight Club 2 did and thus the game wasn't as good, when MC:LA went back to a more decent approach with less of the ridiculous jumps I preferred it. I detest racing games that emphasis being in the air than more on the ground, cars are not meant to fly

If you have nothing but contempt for arcady racing games than you are really really playing the wrong game. Forza sounds more like its for you. Thats like complaining about how Unreal Tournament isnt realistic enough, or strays too far from being a simulation experience.
And how do people still not understand DLC. THey complain if they support a game with DLC after its release, but when they do, they complain it should have been included in the original release. Isn't that ALWAYS going to be the argument, no matter what?
I"m stoked about this expansion. I'll pay for it if its 20 bucks or less for sure.

Personally, this is an answer to my prayers. I love the glory days of ridiculous jumps from "San Fransico Rush." I'm sure alot of people hate that idea, but I love it. Been waiting for this.

@14, fair comment but what I'm finding hard to believe is all the DLC adds up to another game, is it really worth it. Don't get me wrong, dig the new island and I will end up throwing the money to Criterion. New maps and packs are cool but $8.50 for party pack and $8.45 to unlock all cars, I hate that crap.

You don't have to spend the money to unlock all cars, you could play everything in the game to get them. As for the extra cars I don't really want any of those so I don't buy but party pack and cops and robbers was a buy for me. Also the island will for sure be a buy for me. Burnout is the only game that has not been traded for my ps3. I beat others and trade in but with burnout they just keep giving which is fine with me.

at first i had a lot of good will towards criterion and didn't mind paying because i had had freebies off them and now some premiun content.
My goos will has all but gone now because they are charging top whack for what is not much at all.
The island is a good idea and is pretty much an expansion pack but as has been hinted at already, when you add up all the dlc costs it is almost a new game in price but not even close in content. That said though, i will end up getting the pack and moaning while i pull some mental jumps....
