Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans has revealed he is keen to see a sequel to LittleBigPlanet, though wasn’t quite ready to spill the beans as to whether a follow up to the critically acclaimed platformer is in the works.
Speaking to GI.biz, Evans stated, “I’d love there to be a sequel, put it that way,” adding, “But that’s not an announcement - although I will say that the entire team is working on LBP.”
In the meantime (because let’s face it, there will be a sequel) fans can look forward to SackBoy’s portable debut with LittleBigPlanet PSP, which is currently pencilled in for release in late 2009.
We’ll have more Media Molecule’s plans for LittleBigPlanet as they become available to us.

I'm perfectly happy in seeing the support for lbp continue instead of a sequel. There are still aspects of the online I would like to see improving and there is so much they can still introduce in gameplay mechanics. The paintball was awesome in the sense it changed alot.

Might as rerelease Littlebigplanet instead and add all the missing features instead of doing a sequel

I love LittleBigPlanet and would NOT like to see a sequel at all!
This game should have add-on content! At lot of it, too.
And the introduction of liquids, like water a lava. Now, that would be cool!
I would rather like to see a new game from Media Molecule that has nothing to do with LBP, or perhaps a 3D adventure with sackboy.
LBP MMO?
Oh yes, spin-offs are good...

i thought the whole point of littlebigplanet was that it wouldn't need a sequel 'the possibilitys are endless' therefore a sequel being out of the question
i could be wrong but that's what i thought

Don't see the interest in a sequal, just give us some more dlc, plus I don't play that much at LBP so I definately wont be interested in a sequal!

Fix the original and then talk.....You would think that after 9 months in release they would actually fix the lag, but they are too lazy to even do that

A sequal would be sweet. LBP is one of the best games on the console. It's a bummer that alot of people skipped it because it looked "too cute". Still sold well though, and another installment will no doubt be even better.
