Fallout 3 DLC delayed, Broken Steel to be first release

Bethesda posted on the PlayStation Blog that the upcoming Fallout 3 DLC has been delayed and that the first DLC will come out “[hopefully] by the end of September.”

Bethesda admitted it may seem like a long wait but cites extensive testing requirements as reasons for the delay. Not only must it have regular tests, but they need to “test each DLC when used in conjunction with each of the other DLC, as well as all of them together, along with the entire original game.”

Bethesda also announced that per demand, there will be trophies in each of the DLC and that Broken Steel will be the first to arrive, followed by Operation Anchorage and The Pitt, “probably at the same time.” Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta will follow afterward. More details on the other expansions will come after Broken Steel is out.
