Tekken's Heihachi Mishima voice actor dies, aged 57

The voice behind Tekken’s Heihachi Mishima, Daisuke Gori, has been found dead in a suspected suicide in Nanako, Japan. He was 57.
According to reports, Daisuke was discovered in the street having died from what authorities believe to be a knife wound to his arm. Furthermore, a knife and will were found nearby.
Gori had provided the voice of Heihachi for over a decade, beginning with the critically acclaimed Tekken 3. He also played Edge Master in Soul Calibur and had numerous roles in several high profile games, including Star Fox 64, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Ninja Gaiden II.

That's such a shame . It's like the end of an era as I remember Heihachi's voice from way back in the arcades before the first Takken got released on the PSX.

its really too bad. not that i have any connection to this guy as i dont play tekken games, its sad to see anyone go that early.

He was also the voice of Mr. Satan (a.k.a. Hercule) in "Dragon Ball Z" and "Dragon Ball GT". Man this really sucks :(

oh poor guy, i don't really know him as i haven't played Tekken or Soul Calibur but this is always sad to hear, hope they find out what happened, also @2, yeah, very sensitive mate -_-

I dnt think I can imagine sum1 else saying shoryaa. Maybe theyll reuse them.

Ah that's really sad. Heiachi was my favorite Tekken character ever. What a tragedy...
