The news that the Street Fighter and Tekken franchises are teaming up for one big battle in Street Fighter X Tekken wasn't the only Street Fighter-related news to have come out of Comic-Con this weekend.

Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono revealed that Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online is also in development, but at the time didn't reveal whether it would be released as a full retail game or a downloadable title. Eurogamer now has the confirmation from Capcom that it will be a downloadble title, so we can expect to see it arrive on PSN - a release date has yet to be determined.

Hats off to who can tell us how many Street Fighter games have been released since the first arcade release in 1987?

Kind of excited, I didn't like SF4 as much as I thought I would, certainly not as much as SF3 or SF Alpha 3.
