When it comes to major changes in your favorite console, seeing is believing. With that in mind, here is a video showing more details of Sony’s PlayStation Move. If for some reason you are brand new to Move, I’ll give you a brief explanation in the video below.
Move launches later this week and Sony is taking it very seriously. In fact, many believe Sony views Move almost as a new console, and we will see even more promotion for the motion controller starting now and likely leading into the holiday shopping season. You’ll find more than 30 titles that support Move available for the holiday season, and many of those games will be available at launch.
In case you missed our post earlier today regarding some major changes forthcoming to PSU, make sure you read it so you know what is happening behind the scenes. One of the things that should be quite obvious is that the staff members here at PSU are huge game fans, and big fans of online communities.
We know that one of the biggest suggestions we get is for video content, and we are trying our best to provide you with interesting videos for your viewing pleasure. Please remember that this is a starting point, and I’m taking it upon myself to grow this aspect of our site. I certainly welcome your feedback about these videos and I will try very hard to increase the quality in the coming months. If you plan on getting a Move, record yourself playing it, upload it to YouTube, and share it with your PSU community.

Also, the PS Move has a magnetometer that senses the magnetic field of the earth so that it always knows where "Down" is. That's how it knows it's being rotated. It's everything the Wii was promised to be, but never could even with Motion Plus. There are numerous articles out there for you to look at to show you exactly how it is NOT copied from the Wii.
That aside from Sony already researching motion controls since the Playstation 2 era. They had the EyeToy. And they knew from then, they need something tangible to really work for the hardcore games. Which is the main drawback for the Kinect now.

Kinect will more than likely sell very well this holiday season, far more than Move. With that said after reality sets in Move will end up being the more viable option for control in games.

@3 "Movie" lol okay. Kinect already fails for casual gamers cause its 150 dollars. XD. Move works for both harcore and casual and its only $100. And it actually works as far as we know. While kinect... . .

@3Kinect is the template for Sony and Nintendo in the future? In the same way PS2's Eye Toy was the template for Kinect? Face it, there is absolutely no possibility for hardcore gaming without tangible objects. Things you hold in your hand. You need buttons for hardcore gaming. I'm sorry, but there is absolutely no other way. There are talks of Kinect games utilizing the Xbox Controller in tangent. But then that defeats the entire purpose of Kinect's "controller-less motion control" banner, doesn't it? In effect, if hardcore games will still require the Xbox controller, then Kinect (for hardcore games) will be relegated to a little "add-on" gimmick they can place in the games, and will go mostly unused. The same way the PSEye went mostly unused for hardcore games, until the Move came along. I suspect that down the line, Microsoft will release some sort of controller to go with Kinect as well. Take that to the bank.

@ 6 does that mean kinect will only be used to turn xbox controllers into SIXAXIS controllers? LOL I never thought of that before - aha deja vu (I just remembered dreaming that I typed this - so I just contradicted myself)

PSU please promise me that you will NEVER write posts with the same skill and grammatical grace that the post @3 has (for the simple people out there i'm being sarcastic). After reading his post all I now know is he needs to be more concise with his thoughts before he dedicates them to text.
oh and that there is one mighty stench in the room and I think it's coming from Inews76's mouth!
