The latest issue of Famitsu magazine (via Andriasang) has lifted the curtains on Max Anarchy, an online combat outing from Bayonetta developer Platinum Games.

Due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the game will boast a “large number of players” and has been in the works for the past two years. According to the publication, it’ll feature co-op and competitive gameplay elements, and will include Madworld's Jack as a playable character.

The game marks Platinum’s first foray into the world of online multiplayer, and will be published by Sega when it shows up in late 2011. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
