Harmonix and MTV Games today announced a price drop for Rock Band 3. Harmonix's latest music rhythm game is now available for $20 USD at most major retailers in the United States.
In additional to a new piano peripheral, Rock Band 3 introduced Pro mode, which allowed gamers and musicians alike to come much closer to simulating real music creation.

"Rock Band 3 is quite possibly the most successful music game ever," I wrote last November in PSU's Rock Band 3 review. "It keeps the old Rock Band formula wholly intact, and adds upon it a whole new layer of gameplay that carefully leads you across the slow, rickety bridge from simple imitation to real creation."
Rock Band 3, which features 83 songs on-disc from artists like John Lennon, Bob Marley, Ozzy Osbourne and many more, is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
UPDATE: To clarify, the $20 USD price applies only to the game disc. The peripherals are sold separately.
