Konami slashes PES 2011 price; are you tempted?

Konami has slashed the price of its annual soccer title to encourage those who are yet to sample its enhanced game engine to give it a shot.

From immediate effect Pro Evolution 2011 will now be priced at $29.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3. Konami has made much of the draft of new additions to the series this year, which include a real-time player market mechanism, new animations and improved ball control.

In recent years, the Pro Evolution series has sunk into the shadows of its arch-rival, FIFA, so Konami will be hoping that this price cut will encourage a few more people to see how drastically its tried to improve on its ball skills in 2011.

Are you tempted?
