PlayStation Network online in a "few more days," says Sony

Following a statement made by SCEA’s director of corporate communications and social media, Patrick Seybold, earlier today, we had feared that the PlayStation Network could be offline for at least another few weeks, but it seems it might be up and running sooner than expected.
Seybold has now posted on the official PlayStation Blog with a short statement that tells us the PSN is likely to be back online in only a few more days. “I know you all want to know exactly when the services will be restored,” posts Seybold. “At this time, I can’t give you an exact date, as it will likely be at least a few more days. We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through this process.”
Sony has assured PSN users that the service will be fully secure before it risks bringing it back online. “Let me assure you that the resources of this company have been focused on investigating the entire nature and impact of the cyber-attack we’ve all experienced and on fixing it,” said Sony’s CEO Howard Stringer recently. “We are absolutely dedicated to restoring full and safe service as soon as possible and rewarding you for your patience. We will settle for nothing less.”
The PlayStation Network has now been offline for over three weeks.

It's hard for me to believe Sony any more there full of lie's and i have lost faith in them.I can say that i highly dought i would buy another PS3 game, will continue to play on the PS3 but Sony wont see another 60 us dollors from me,gamefly or PC for me. Sony like that X in your past that tell on lie to cover another one you know the type the kind you dont want to have a relationship with cuz u can never trust them Ever! again, that the way i feel about Sony ATm they really have to put in work to gain THE MILLIONS of fans bk in there corner and that will take years.GL Sony You WILL NEED IT!

People are taking statements out of context AGAIN!!!
The full statement implies that they will MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT MORE SPECIFIC TIMEFRAMES FOR THE PSN BEING AVAILABLE. THAT will happen "within a few days." They have not stated that any PSN functionality will return "within a few days."

Xbox has its fanboys, PS3 has its spoiled brats! WAA WAA WAA The PSN is down. That is all I have been seeing since it went down. Sony just decided to turn it off, I mean it wasn't hacked by a bunch of cyber terrorists that need to be killed like Bin laden! I think all the cry babies PS3 users should be banned anyways! Go play a 360! I would rather Sony took there time and got every right instead of turning back on so gamers can get the rocks off playing Black Ops. I mean that is what gets a gamer off is those ridicules Call of Duty games. Funny how right now I am playing a game with out the PSN, it can be done you Brats! The fact is, it really doesn't matter how it went down, I mean if a tsunami took it it down! who cares I need my COD fix! Grow up PS3 users!

I'm being patient cuz i know when PSN goes back online everybody's gona be drooling over all the free Games, Movies, PS Plus, Qriocity, Credit Card Security and a badass new Server that Sony is working on this very moment to make up for the downtime. Just relax everyone cuz when PSN comes back online it's gona be more powerful and secured than ever before. Use this downtime to get away from the tv and actually go outside and do something. If your thinking of trading your ps3 for an xbox 360 because of the downtime then heck do what you want but i tell you this, When PSN goes back online it's gona be better than ever. Sony has been in the gaming business for a long time and they know what they're doing. And as for the hackers that's responsible for all this damage...Man up!! Maybe instead of hacking a free service(Cheapshot) by the way, Maybe you monkeys can hack into something that would help better protect AMERICA and it's ALLIES!!
