TimeSplitters 4 to be unveiled 'soon,' says OPM UK

U.K. publication Official PlayStation Magazine (via DigitalSpy) has said that the fourth entry in the TimeSplitters franchise will be announced "soon."
“Gun-wielding monkeys are finally making a comeback! A fourth TimeSplitters 4 title is to be announced soon," says the mag.
TimeSplitters 4 has been rumored to be in the works for some time now, and will apparently take the form of a CryEngine 3-powered sandbox shooter complete with branching pathways. It’ll be developed by Crytek UK, the studio formally known as Free Radical Design.
TimeSplitters debuted on PlayStation 2 back in 2000, and has spawned two sequels to date: TimeSplitters 2 (2002) and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (2005).
