TSSZ reports that SEGA will be lifting the lid on a new Bayonetta title at some point this week.
That’s not all, either. Apparently, the Japanese giant will also be confirming Yakuza 5 for release on PlayStation Vita, and is considering bringing Sonic Generations for Sony’s swanky new pocket brick to boot.
Regarding Generations specifically, the report claims that “internal code allegedly already exists that hint toward the console edition” of the platformer coming to Vita.
As for Bayonetta, it remains unknown whether the new game will be a sequel or a spin-off, though it appears an announcement will drop at some point this week, presumably at the Tokyo Game Show.
Yakuza 5 was previously confirmed earlier this month, though it wasn’t revealed what system(s) the game would be released for. A follow-up to Yakuza: Black Panther is also in the works, though that will be coming to PlayStation Portable, not Vita.
The Tokyo Game Show kicks off this Wednesday, so stay tuned to PSU for all the latest news as we get it.

I'm sooo glad they didn't announce a Bayonetta sequel, I despise that series. Liek, despise it more than I logically should. Either way I definitely hope that they don't release another entry in that series, ever. Evereverever.
Sonic Generations would've rocked on Vita, as long as they handled it right; the 3DS' hardware limitations prevented that version from really being any good but a Vita version wouldn't have that problem. A near-straight port of the console version to the Vita would've definitely sold quite a few copies, Vita gamers like me are dying for more must-have titles on the system. :<
