Resident Evil 6 will take Capcom’s long-running survival horror franchise “back to its roots,” reports EGM.
According to a ‘reliable insider,’ the next core entry in the zombie-blasting series will place considerable emphasis on scaring the pants off players, and is said to be the most grusome entry to date.
“This will be, by far, the most gruesome Resident Evil game to date,” said EGM’s source. “A real emphasis is being placed on making the game brutally scary.”
Resident Evil 6 has been rumored for some time now, though Capcom’s yet to officially lift the lid on the sequel. However, it is believed the game will finally get a formal reveal at the Tokyo Game Show later this week.
