During the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards, The Joker, most recently from Batman: Arkham City, had multiple appearances. Whether it was introducing nominees, or on the stage using the show’s augmented reality feature, The Joker was one of the highlights of the show.

Fitting then, that the purple-suited psychopath won Character of the Year, beating out Nathan Drake (Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception), Marcus Fenix (Gears of War 3), and Wheatley (Portal 2).

Congratulations Rocksteady!
